Investigations are still ongoing in the death of a 32-year-old man who was killed after a fall from an oil rig west of Killdeer, North Dakota, on Thursday. According to Eric Brooks, U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration area director, Kristopher Barnes of Minot died after being struck by traveling blocks. He became trapped beneath the blocks while working on the rig.
