2 manufacturers announce layoffs at Lafayette plants

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Two manufacturing companies have announced layoffs at their respective facilities in Lafayette. WLFI-TV reported Thursday that both Caterpillar, Inc. and Oerlikon Fairfield are reducing their staff.
